Rhodes Funeral Home picked up my Mother, in a timely manner, for her cremation. The Funeral Home needed certain information for my Mother’s death certificate, we supplied everything to the best of our ability, but some of that information was not put on the death certificate correctly. My Mother was cremated in March, we met up, more towards the beginning of March, for me to sign and initial the paperwork authorizing them to cremate my Mother. Once finished with the paperwork, I requested a copy and I was told that I will get a copy when everything is done. My Daughter went to pick up the ashes and no paperwork was given to her. I immediately contacted the Funeral Home, and I have reached out to the Father and the Son, on numerous occasions, via phone calls and/or text messages, asking for this paperwork to be mailed to me, and I was assured, in almost every communication, some they didn’t respond to, that it was going to be mailed to me. To this day, I still have not received the paperwork and continue to ask them to send it.

On May 2nd I, finally, received Certified mail from Rhodes Funeral Home which was copies of paperwork that I had signed and initialed.

What can I say about Mr. Linwood Rhodes that hasn’t been said about the some of the greatest men in history.

I cannot express enough gratitude to Mr. Rhodes and his team at Rhodes Funeral Home in Newburgh, NY, for the incredible care and professionalism they provided during my grandmother’s (Arvenia J Brown) funeral. From the moment we walked through their doors, they treated our family with compassion, respect, and kindness.

Mr. Rhodes went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. His attention to detail and the way he honored my grandmother’s memory was truly extraordinary. The service was beautifully arranged, and every aspect reflected dignity and grace, giving us the peace and comfort we needed during such a difficult time.

The staff was warm, accommodating, and always available to answer our questions or provide assistance. It’s clear that Mr. Rhodes and his team genuinely care about the families they serve. They made an incredibly challenging time a little easier for all of us, and for that, I am deeply thankful.

If you are looking for a funeral home where your loved one’s life will be honored with care and excellence, I highly recommend Rhodes Funeral Home. Thank you, Mr. Rhodes, for everything you did to make my grandmother’s farewell so meaningful.

The Rhodes Funeral Home led by Mr. Lynwood Rhodes Jr. are an outstanding extension of how a family should say “until we meet again” to your loved one who has passed. I want to start by thanking the people who own this place;
Then I want to thank whoever took care of my brother whom passed away in May 5th 2024 , his name was Orlando, 11 days after his death when we arrive for his viewing service upon entering we were greeted by a really nice gentleman, as we walked in the place was beautiful and clean and the attention to detail every screen had my brother pictures and his family, the soft music the flowers and the way my brother looked, as if he was asleep, his clothes were perfectly tucked and his body was well handled and prepared.
